Lindsey wanted a very special grooms gift for her husband to be. As you can see, she is SMOKIN HOT on a bad day, so I knew her boudoir session was going to be amazing.
She is a married lady now — so I can only show you just a few of the ‘milder’ images. Let me just say I loved all of her session and she looked just as amazing in every picture as I thought she would.
Lindsey, thank you for letting me share these ones!!! Congratulations again!
June is a great month for a wedding. Especially when it is held at on the beautiful grounds of Brookgreen Gardens, and everything is blooming! This gorgeous wedding started out with the guys and gals getting ready at a hotel.
Then a trolly ride (Carolina Limousine) to Brookgreen Gardens.
Jenn & Jason opted for a first look before the ceremony, and it was awesome.
After that, we did some formals and family pictures before the ceremony…..
These two are so in love ❤ ~sigh~
The ceremony setting was GORGEOUS under Live Oak Alley. Really one of our favorites ever!
The moment they had been waiting for….
Making it official for the state…..
….and a few after ceremony pictures as well.
The reception was also at Brookgreen…..and was intimate and amazing. Check back for part 2!!!!
Thanks to an amazing line up of vendors who made this day perfect!!! Sara at Stunning & Brilliant Events, Ryan from Globaltruth Entertainment, Hart to Heart Media, Little Shop of Flowers, Austin’s Cabana Cafe and Ocean One, Incredible Edibles Bakery, Carolina Limousine, and Eventworks.
The Ocean Club is a beautiful place for a wedding. With the recent renovation, it’s prettier than ever! This is where Mary Kate & Matt chose to tie the knot.
Little Shop of Flowers did an amazing job with soft spring flowers, that matched the bridesmaids dresses perfectly.
They chose to have a first look, so we could get some pictures done before the ceremony.
The wedding party was ready to celebrate. They were a really fun group to work with.
These two are so cute together 🙂
The ceremony was on the lower deck. Guests came from all over to help the celebrate.
There was even a plane that flew over the ceremony – wising them BLUE SKIES FOREVER!
After the ceremony, we went to the beach for some of those beautiful ocean pictures.
Then back to a tent where the reception was held.
Such a wonderful celebration, with an awesome couple!
And an amazing line of of vendors we love working with – including Samantha from the Ocean Club – Coordinator, Little Shop of Flowers – Floral Designers, Scott from Hart to Heart Media – Videography, Incredible Edibles – Cake Designer, and Mike from D.J. Scott & Company who kept the party rocking. Thank you all for making this another great event!!
Mary Kate & Matt — thanks for having us. We also wish you a lifetime of clear, blue skies 🙂
Seriously….. one of the happiest celebrations of love ever!!
All these beautiful little details, Karen made herself. Casey, from North Beach Plantation made sure everything looked perfect!
Everyone was ready to celebrate!
A first dance, a mom dance……
Some heartfelt speeches from best friends……
The talented Ann Brooke Mccall made the beautiful and delicious cake and cupcakes. A sweet cutting of the cake……….
Very sweet in fact — rofl!
…..and Rob Petillo DJ’ed music that got everyone up on their feet.
There was dancing …….
…and dancing. And I mean, EVERYONE was dancing!
And Michelle Zapf had some fun with the crowd and Photo Booth!
Karen & Tex …… thanks SO much for having us! We will never forget this day. It truly was an awesome celebration!!!!
Brooke loves these two, and after meeting them, it was easy to see why. Seriously, just the nicest couple….AND fun!! There are only a few weddings I can remember that were as happy as this one was. Not JUST Karen & Tex, but everyone who attended too!
Crafty Karen made the bouquets and boutonnieres (and so much more you will see later) herself. I loved that everything was so personalized. It just made the day even more special.
Tex works for Nascar. So naturally, he and the groomsmen all wore these awesome racing shoes!
…and they both looked amazing 🙂 Karen is gorgeous!
They had a sweet first look.
And we had time for some pictures before the ceremony.
Family and friends were gathered to share their moment. There was a whole lotta love and support there!!
From this point on, nerves were calmed, and it was all pure joy. It’s difficult to find an image after this, where EVERYONE is not smiling or laughing!
Yup – a Rose Petal Cannon
Off to the beach for some more pictures in STYLE.
OK. Really. This was a seriously fun group to work with. 🙂
Love these two!
We made a quick stop for a few pictures with a very, very important someone, who was not able to attend the wedding.
Then off again, to the reception! Can’t wait to show you those happy pictures!!!
Did I mention how amazing BLU looked? DGS Designs had everything looking wonderful! Casey, the event coordinator for ALL of North Beach made sure everything ran smoothly…. and it did.
These two were surrounded by friends and family who loved them.
… and who were ready to celebrate!! DJ Scott kept the party hopping.
We snuck out for a few night pictures. These guys are so fun!
And ended the evening with a S’mores Bar for all!
Dustin & Megan …… Thanks for having us. We loved every minute of your day! Know you will have a long and happy life together.
So…. yes. I have a really cool job. One of my favorite parts is seeing the personality of each couple come out in their weddings. Everyone has a different vision of their wedding day, and Megan & Dustin’s wedding, perfectly fit who they are! Defiantly Soho Chic…. from beginning to end.
The day started out with the fabulous Wing Wong, making sure Megan looked great. Hair can be difficult when your ceremony is on a windy beach – but Megan looked perfect all day.
Her Riki Dalal dress was stunning. The Louboutins and orchids fit right into the style of the wedding. Gorgeous! ~sigh~
She had 4 besties to help her get ready. Did I mention they wore white too? And no. It did not ‘take away’ from the bride what-so-ever. She was still the main event 🙂
We had time before the ceremony for a few formal pictures. We went to the gazebo at the beautiful grounds of North Beach Plantation.
Then Megan and I went up to check out BLU on the 14th floor, between the towers. This ultra chic lounge where the reception was held was just the PERFECT style for them. Megan was looking so good, had to grab a few more pictures.
Ceremony time! All eyes were waiting for the stunning bride. See? All the guests wore white too. I really loved this! Only the 3rd wedding in 10 years we have done that was all white.
How cute are these two??
A quick shot of all the wedding guests…..
… and on for a little bit of fun with the wedding party!
The beach was pretty crowded on May 14th — It was hard to find a clear spot….but we managed.
Then back to BLU for the amazing reception……… which I will show you next time 🙂
